Aircraft Concept
Trials Lab

An independent light aviation development laboratory. Real structures designed, tested and flown to reach a validated conclusion: go, or no-go.

Test articles are built here. Serial production happens elsewhere.

800 m² / 8,600 ft² Owned facility
20+ years Uninterrupted activity
6 Flight test programs completed
4 Original concept studies conducted

What exists, and what it does.

The structural validation phase is the primary activity: compress it as far as possible using accumulated failure knowledge, purpose-built infrastructure, and methodology built across years of original programs. When a concept is validated, the result is ready for use. When it fails validation, that result is equally valuable. A reliable early decision to stop is cheaper and more useful than an expensive late one.

The accumulated experience has reached critical mass: enough to evaluate designs at the conceptual level, identify where the genuine gains in light aviation lie, and pursue them with confidence in the methodology.

The facility has a gross floor area of 800 square metres (8,600 sq ft), owned and operational in Bulgaria. Staffed, equipped with workshops, avionics laboratory, and assembly and test floor.

Concepts originate internally, from accumulated knowledge. Programs run at the pace the engineering requires.

From knowledge base
to aircraft test routine.

Each program was chosen for what it required the laboratory to learn. The early programs built structural knowledge, fabrication discipline, and a failure library. Later programs applied that base to defined questions — concepts taken through design, build, and test to a conclusion.

Documentation for completed programs available on request. Two active programs are in progress — details available in conversation.

Direct conversation.
No pitch process.

If what the laboratory does is relevant to your work — as a builder, integrator, producer, or sponsor — the conversation starts with a note on context and interest.

Use the form. There is no pitch process — only the work, the record behind it, and a direct exchange about what that means for you.
